Britain stun record holders

Britain beat world record holders America by a tenth of a second to win the men's 4x100 metres at the Goodwill Games in Brisbane.

John Barbour, Marlon Devonish, Christian Malcolm and Dwain Chambers won in 38.71 secs.

A changeover mix-up wrecked Britain's hopes of gold at last month's World Championships and Malcolm said: "We are one of the best in the world. We wanted to prove that tonight."
