Anthony Joshua will meet Francis Ngannou on another huge night of boxing in Saudi Arabia.

Joshua made light work of Otto Wallin in Riyad last month in a huge ‘Day of Reckoning’ card that saw his money-spinning fight with Deontay Wilder fall through after the American lost to Joseph Parker in convincing fashion.

While there had been reports suggesting Joshua was eying a potential fight with Filip Hrgović for the IBF title should that be vacated following the undisputed bout between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk on February 17, a fight with Ngannou has now been confirmed.

The former UFC star made waves during his boxing debut in October when he knocked Fury down and lost only on points to a fighter often hailed as the best of his generation.

No date has been set for the fight but Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed on X: “Tonight we confirm it’s a Done Deal! Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou collide on a huge night in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - press conference Jan 15 in London with full details dropping soon!”
