David Price has secured a huge victory over Dave Allen at the O2 Arena in London.

The veteran Liverpudlian has never gone beyond seven rounds in his professional career, dogged by questions over whether he could stand toe-to-toe with Allen, who has never been knocked down in his career.

But Price produced an almost punch perfect performance to secure a win over the White Rhino, whose team pulled him out of the fight at the end of the 10th round.

The size difference between the pair was striking from the off as the pair sounded each other out during a cagey opening round.

A sharp uppercut in the second however set the tone for the fight, with Price keeping his cool and fighting smart as he picked his punches expertly to take a clear lead on the scorecards.

Price looked to be coasting his way to a points victory before former middleweight champion Darren Barker, now Allen's trainer, pulled his man out.
