Anthony Joshua says Tyson Fury must stop calling himself the best heavyweight on the planet until he has beaten him.

All four major heavyweight world titles now belong to English fighters with Joshua in possession of the IBF, WBO and WBA (Super) belts after his rematch victory over Andy Ruiz Jr last December.

Fury meanwhile took the WBC strap after dominating Deontay Wilder in their Las Vegas rematch in February.

It sets up a compelling all-British showdown to unify the heavyweight division for the first time since 2004. But until that happens, Joshua insists neither man can assume the title of best in the world.

"If you really want to say you're No 1, come fight me. Let's get it on," Joshua told Sky Sports News.

"I've got the rest of the belts so it only makes sense.

"I'm the unified heavyweight champion of the world, he's the WBC champion. What it will prove, me and him fighting? There will be one dominant figure in the heavyweight division that will have all of the belts and become undisputed.

"Logically to prove yourself as No 1, I have to fight Tyson Fury. He has to fight Anthony Joshua."

First up for Joshua is IBF mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev, a bout that was originally scheduled for June 20 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. That fight has since been postponed to a later date.

Fury meanwhile has the small matter of a trilogy meeting with Deontay Wilder - currently slated for October.
