Bircham's facing a rap from Holloway

Ian Holloway will today watch the video of his QPR team's heated 1-0 win at Stoke before deciding whether to discipline Marc Bircham.

The Rangers midfielder outraged Stoke fans, who felt he had conned referee Eddie Evans into red-carding Gerry Taggart for use of the elbow.

Bircham, branded a "cheat" by Stoke boss Tony Pulis, said: "I'm getting slaughtered but, if I'm the bad guy, how come I've got a fat lip? Look at my mouth. I am the victim."

Rangers manager Holloway added: "If I feel there is a case for Marc to be disciplined, then I'll do it. But the fact is, if you raise your arm on the pitch these days you're playing with fire."

Kevin Gallen's 20-yard goal moved QPR up to fourth in the Championship.
