Below par Goosen lifted by Sun City Challenge tonic

Retief Goosen was hoping a good night's sleep would get him into better shape for today's second round of the Sun City Challenge golf tournament in South Africa.

Goosen, the US Open champion, has been put on a course of antibiotics following a bout of influenza and said: "I haven't been too well over the past three weeks. I was on a drip before starting the medication."

Despite his ailments, Goosen began with a round of 70 to share the lead with fellow South African Ernie Els, England's Lee Westwood and Australian Stuart Appleby.
