Bees seek cover

Wally Downes wants to sign a centre-half as cover for Ibrahima Sonko.

The defender did not play in last week's defeat at Notts County and will miss several games through international duty with Senegal.

Leo Roget, an obvious replacement, has a knee injury and is out of the home game with Barnsley tomorrow.

Downes said: "With Sonko involved in the African Nations Cup and the Olympics, I am looking to bring in a quality defender."
