Bartholomeusz to join Sarries

Australia international Mark Bartholomeusz is to join Saracens for the start of next season.

The 26-year-old ACT Brumbies utility back enjoyed a brief spell with Sarries earlier this season and will now make the move to Vicarage Road permanent.

Saracens head coach Rod Kafer said: "Mark is a proven performer who can play in a number of different positions.

"He's appeared in every position in the backline for the Brumbies except scrum-half and that experience makes him a very good addition to the squad.

"We're delighted Mark has agreed to join us. He impressed while with us earlier this season and we are all looking forward to welcoming him back. He will have an important role to play as the club moves forward."

Bartholomeusz played four times for Saracens earlier this season as midfield cover during the World Cup but his spell was cut short by injury.
