Australia in clean sweep

Australia defeated Bangladesh by 112 runs in the final one-day international against Bangladesh in Darwin to take the series 3-0.

Aussie skipper Ricky Ponting smashed 101 off 118 balls as the home side scored 254 for seven off 50 overs, while the visitors were dismissed for 142 in 47.3 overs.

Ian Harvey did the damage for Australia, taking four for 16 off just 6.3 overs. Only Alok Kapali offered any resistance for the tourists, scoring 49.
