If Glenn Hoddle was under any illusions about the task he faces at Spurs, it was brought into sharp focus for him last Sunday by the team a few miles up the road. Quite simply Arsenal were different class, a Rolls-Royce compared with roller-skates, a Frank Sinatra up against Frank Skinner. The feeling is that the Footballer of the Year may come from the ranks of Manchester United but I know more than one of my colleagues who will be voting for Patrick Vieira. This season, the French international seems to have scaled new heights - and worked hard on the flashes of temper which have caused him grief in the past.
Verdict: WEARY GUNNERS TAKE THE POINTS
