Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil took to Twitter to celebrate his side’s victory over Manchester United – and included a dig at Jesse Lingard.

Ozil was given a standing ovation when replaced by Alex Iwobi late on in the 2-0 victory which sent Arsenal into the top four.

United midfielder Lingard was missing through injury, but had scored on his last two appearances at the Emirates.

On both occasions he celebrated with dance moves, and labelled the stadium his "dancefloor" on Instagram.

Ozil took the opportunity to fire back after Sunday’s win, tweeting: “Dancefloor huh!? Superb performance! Brilliant result! Thank you Emirates Stadium! Proud to be a Gunner!”

Granit Xhaka’s swerving first half strike gave Arsenal the lead, before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made up for his penalty miss in the north London derby last weekend by converting from the spot to seal the result.
