Arsenal gunning for United tie

Manchester United have been handed the prospect of an FA Cup quarter-final meeting with Arsenal at Old Trafford.

United, who edged past non-league Crawley Town on Saturday, were drawn against Arsenal or Leyton Orient who drew 1-1 at Brisbane Road on Sunday.

Carling Cup finalists Birmingham meet Bolton after they beat Fulham 1-0 at Craven Cottage.

Stoke have a home tie against either West Ham or Burnley and Manchester City or Aston Villa will face Everton, who knocked out holders Chelsea, or Reading.

The ties are due to be played on the weekend of March 12 and 13.

FA Cup quarter-final draw (ties to be played on March 12 & 13): Stoke v West Ham or Burnley; Man City or Aston Villa v Everton or Reading; Birmingham v Bolton; Manchester United v Leyton Orient or Arsenal
