Anelka at home with Blues

12 April 2012

Striker Nicolas Anelka insists he is so happy at Chelsea that he wants to sign a new long-term contract with the club.

Anelka also made it clear he was accepting of coach Carlo Ancelotti's rotation policy after helping Chelsea to a 2-0 victory over west London neighbours Fulham on Sunday.

He said: "I'm really glad to play and score goals for Chelsea and I hope I will be here for many more seasons."

He added: "I was saying I wanted to be at a big club and I am at a big club, Chelsea are one of the biggest clubs in the world so I'm very happy.

"Things are going well, so there's no need to move anymore. I want to help my club and I'm happy to be here.

"The most important thing is to win with Chelsea. Of course everyone wants to play every game, but the manager said in some games he will change the players and get some people to rest and we have to accept it."
