Albertas at the double

Albertas Run will face nine rivals as he attempts to pull off the Cheltenham-Aintree double for the second successive year in Friday's Melling Chase.

Jonjo O'Neill's 10-year-old won the Ryanair Chase last season before landing this 2m4f contest. Former champion chaser Master Minded steps up in trip and Edward O'Grady's Tranquil Sea runs after missing Cheltenham with a late setback.

The field is completed by Kalahari King, Somersby, French Opera, Mad Max, Chaninbar, Tartak and Made In Taipan.
