Agent plays down Polish duo's link with Celtic

Reports linking Gordon Strachan's Scottish champions with Polish duo Radoslaw Majewski and Szynan Pawlowski.

The details of Polonia Warsaw midfielder Majewski and Zagrabin Lubin forward Pawlowski - poised to win his first cap for Poland against Ukraine - have been circulated by agent Raymond Sparkes to Britain's top clubs.

Sparkes last night dismissed suggestions that the £3m-rated duo would be arriving in Glasgow for a trial.

'These boys will not be going anywhere for a trial. As to whether any interest from Celtic will develop further I cannot say,' he said.

'But I will be surprised if these players are not household names sooner rather than later.'
