Agassi triumphs in Houston

Andre Agassi advanced to the quarter-finals of the US Men's Clay Court Championships in Houston after defeating South Korea's Lee Hyung-taik 6-4, 7-5.

"It gets better every day," Agassi said of playing on clay. "The first one's always the toughest when you're making the transition to clay."

After the match Agassi was presented with the Arthur Ashe Humanitarian of the Year Award trophy for the second time in his career.

Top seed Tommy Haas of Germany was eliminated by Wayne Arthurs of Australia 3-6, 6-3, 7-6.
