Addicks keen on Green

14 April 2012

Norwich have confirmed they are in negotiations with Charlton over the possible transfer of goalkeeper Robert Green.

The 26-year-old England international is currently recovering from a torn groin muscle which ruled him out of the World Cup.

City chief executive Neil Doncaster told the club's official website, www.canaries.co.uk: "We are talking over a possible transfer of Robert Green to Charlton, but those talks are still at an early stage and no deal has yet been agreed."

Green has made 241 league and cup appearances for Norwich after coming through the youth system at Carrow Road.
