Addicks bag Rommedahl

Charlton have agreed a £3m fee with Dutch side PSV Eindhoven for Denmark winger Dennis Rommedahl.

The 25-year-old will be able to hold talks with a view to finalising the move as soon as his country's interest ends in Euro 2004.

"We are delighted that we have reached an agreement for the transfer of Dennis," said Addicks chief executive Peter Varney.

"He is a world-class player and one that has performed particularly well in the current European Championships. We know there has been interest in Dennis from across Europe, as well as from other Premiership clubs."

Charlton are also interested in PSV striker Mateja Kezman.
