CowParade London, the unique public art event that has been brightening up the streets of London since June, has come to an end.

But that is not the last you?ll see of the bovine beauties as 60 of the best cows are to be auctioned at Sotheby?s Olympia on October 10th, with substantial proceeds going directly to ChildLine.

ChildLine is the UK?s free 24-hour helpline for children in trouble or danger. Everyday 15,000 attempted calls are made to ChildLine ? but lack of funds means that the charity can only answer 3,500 of them.

CowParade London consisted of 170 + fibreglass cows that were painted and decorated by artists, children and enthusiastic members of the general public.

The concept dreamt up by Swiss window dresser Walter Knapp has been worldwide hit, with successful parades taking place in Zurich, New York, Chicago, and Sydney.

CowParade and This is London have teamed up to offer five lucky people the chance to attend the auction with a guest as VIPs.

In addition to the tickets the winners will receive a ceramic cow, which have become this year?s must-have collectable item, they retail from £15 and are available from Harrods, Liberty?s, Chinacraft and other independent gift retailers.
