Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were among the notable faces in the Royal Box on day 12 of Wimbledon.

The royal, 34, appeared in jovial spirits as she and her other half, 39, watched Novak Djokovic take on Jannik Sinner for a place in the final.

Other stars taking their place in the coveted box for the afternoon included singers Sir Cliff Richard, Katherine Jenkins and Jamie Cullum.

While filmmaker Sam Mendes, British actress Felicity Kendal and documentarian Louis Theroux were also pictured taking in all the scenes at Centre Court.

Elsewhere Baroness Benjamin of Beckenham, 73, and Lady Helen Taylor, 59, were also spotted in SW19.

The famous guests were in for a treat this Friday as Djokovic attempts to continue his 33-match unbeaten run at Wimbledon.

It is six years since the Serbian last lost at the tournament, but he faces a player who very nearly ended his run to the title 12 months ago.

Sinner was two sets up against Djokovic in the quarter-finals last year, only for the tennis great to hit back and win on his way to a fourth successful Wimbledon title.

On Friday, the 21-year-old headed onto Centre Court looking to become the first player to beat Djokovic on that court since Andy Murray beat him in the 2013 final.

But Djokovic will not have it all his own way, even if Sinner has had a relatively comfortable path through to the last four as the Italian has not faced a single seeded player over the past fortnight.
