President Barack Obama played second fiddle to pop star Willow Smith as the pint-sized singer stole the show at the White House.

10-year-old Willow Smith performed at the White House for its annual Easter Egg Roll and the 'Whip My Hair' singer brought a smile to the President's daughter, Sasha.

Willow sang her new song 'Rockstar' as well as '21st Century Girl' and 'Whip My Hair'.

She also performed 'Only Girl (In the World)', a song by her mentor Rihanna and Lady Gaga's 'Just Dance'.

Nine-year-old Sasha looked less than amused as her parents read children's book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom to a young audience.

Willow's mother Jada Pinkett Smith and Michelle Obama cheered for her in the crowd before the Easter bunny appeared to dish out chocolate eggs.

The annual event began at 7.30am and ran all day. Tickets were allocated to 30,000 people who were allowed to spend two hours each on the South Lawn.
