Willis sues after assault claim

Bruce Willis is suing a photographer for $1 million damages for claiming the Die Hard star hit him outside a Hollywood restaurant.

Willis, 51, said he merely held his hands up to avoid being blinded by camera flashes as he arrived.

Contact with Anthony Goodrich was "exceedingly minimal and inadvertent", he said.

Goodrich had told website TMZ.com that the actor had struck his camera lens and pushed it into his face, chipping a tooth and injuring his nose.
