It looked like it was a night to remember for MP Lembit Opik as he went out with Cheeky Girl Gabriela Irimia to a party at the Embassy Club.

The celebrity couple put on a show in London at an event to celebrate the birthday of The Cheeky Girls' manager.

However, if the Liberal Democrat MP was looking for a quieter, low-key affair to mark the occasion, his future wife's choice of clothing wouldn't have helped matters.

Leaving little to the imagination in a barely-there pink mini-skirt, 25-year-old Gabriela donned a series of suggestive badges, including 'Saucy', 'No Angel', and the appropriate 'Cheeky'.

The pair were joined for the evening by sister Monica and the scantily-clad duo promptly treated snappers to some risque shots by posing on a Harley Davidson motorbike.

The MP proposed to his Cheeky Girl beside Rome’s Trevi Fountain in April.

The 43-year-old surprised Gabriela by presenting her with an engagement ring at a place he calls ‘the most romantic on the planet’.

Cheeky Girls - Transylvania-born Miss Irimia and her sister Monica - had a novelty  hit in 2002 with The Cheeky Song (Touch my Bum).

Mr Opik met his bride-to-be when she was a contestant on a talent show in October 2006.

At the time, he was engaged to the TV weather presenter Sian Lloyd.

Gabriela said it was love at first sight when the pair first met, but that the relationship remained platonic until he split from Miss Lloyd in the December.

The MP and the weathergirl had been together for 14 years when she ended things, saying she had grown tired of his fondness for the celebrity lifestyle.

After tying the knot, the couple plan to live in Montgomeryshire, where Mr Opik has been an MP since 1997.
