Victoria Beckham has revealed she likes nothing better than spending her spare time masquerading as a dinner lady at her sons' school in Los Angeles.

Bag lady: Victoria Beckham goes for the 'casual' look

In an interview with American Glamour magazine, the former Spice Girl, who has three sons Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz with her footballer husband David, said she also enjoyed reading to the children, receiving compliments from the girls about her dress.

Puppy love: the glamorous star says she loves being a mum

She said: "I travel a fair amount, and when I'm here in LA, everything revolves around the kids. So if I'm not working, I go to the school and help serve lunches to the children. They just love that. It's like 'Oh, there's Mummy serving me!'."

American idol: Posh is US Glamour's March cover model

Beckham, who is well known for her love of high fashion and designs her own clothing line, is seen sporting a more laid-back look on the publication's March cover, posing casually in a T-shirt and jeans with a Labrador puppy - her own brand of denim.

Answering a series of readers' questions during the interview, Beckham, 35, talked about dealing with other women fancying her husband.

She said: "It's not healthy to be jealous. I look at David and I think he's so handsome and I'm so lucky to have him as a husband. And he's an amazing father. I don't blame people for looking at him and finding him attractive. I mean, I do."

She added: "I believe in love at first sight. I met my soulmate with David."

Beckham told the magazine that when she first met David, while still touring the world as Posh Spice, he dressed head to toe in navy blue Prada to impress her as he had read she liked the label.

She also revealed that despite her own celebrity status, some A-list stars still made her nervous.
She said: "Nervous in a good way. I (once) shared a plane with George Clooney. I still get excited. My mum and I said 'Oh my God' ... I'm leading an extraordinary life. I never try to be too cool about (it)."
