Not a whiz in the kitchen: Victoria, pictured here in Manchester today, fed husband David a diet of minced meat for four years

Victoria Beckham may be many things, but a domestic goddess isn't one of them.

Posh Spice fed her soccer superstar spouse minced meat for four years - because it was the only dish she cooked well, so she served it up constantly to her family.

In an interview with Manchester radio station Key 103, Victoria said: 'The only thing I can cook really is mince meat, which is ironic because I'm a vegetarian.

'But I like calzone and lasagne. I cooked every day in Spain so David and the boys lived off minced meat for four years.

'I cook a Sunday dinner every single Sunday I'll have you know. My kids like Yorkshire pudding so I make that, I can make it from scratch and I make Dora the Explorer cakes for afters because the kids love them.'

Victoria spoke of her culinary talents while in Manchester yesterday to promote her new perfume Signature after requesting a purple carpet for the launch at Harvey Nichols store.

'Well yes, I have asked for purple carpet,' she told DJ Mike Toolan. 'The truth is we have got our own carpet, when anyone does a launch they take things with them.

'I don't mind being a little bit diva-ish because I know that I'm really not.'

The 34-year-old also claims to never read gossip written about her and David.

She added: 'I don't read the tabloids or magazines. Every now and again something will crop up that we can sue people for, like the diet pills, there are a lot of young girls that look up to me and when something like that is written it is dangerous and serious.

'I'm actually quite boring, I don't do that much, some of the stories are quite ludicrous - I'm walking out of a restaurant and David's helping me up a pavement and the next thing I'm drunk and falling all over the place.

'People are always going to have an opinion about what I do, what I say, what I wear, and the truth is I don't really care, I've gone past that.

'I've been battered as much as anyone can be battered and I don't really care. But I'm very privileged that I can do what I want to do in the fashion industry.'

Victoria also dismissed speculation she is pregnant with her fourth child.

Victoria and David Beckham enjoyed dinner at Eva Longoria's LA restaurant again last night - but Posh's mini-corset dress surely left little room for afters

She said: 'I'm not pregnant. Having the three boys is a lot and I've been given so many career opportunities at the moment.

'Me and David have got our hands tied with the three we have but in a few years I'd say we'd be blessed to have another child.

'It sounds really typical, but so long as they're healthy then you don't really care.

'We always talk about when we lived here and he still speaks to a lot of the guys he used to play with. I know that David does really miss it here.'
