A man who broke into Sean "Diddy" Combs' New York mansion snoozed in his bed and helped himself to the rapper's bar.

Quamine Taylor, the inturder, told Suffolk Crown Court, that he had spent a day at the rap artist's home, smoking his cigars and drinking his spirits.

The man was found on April 1 and faced trespassing and petit larceny charges and was ordered to stay away from Combs' homes.

Quamine Taylor was sentenced to time served after being unable to post 2,000 dollars (£1,300) bail following his April arrest, the New York Post reported.

Taylor had previously been arrested at the home in June 2001.
