Two housemates face surprise eviction on CBB

Two celebrities face being booted out of the Big Brother house tonight in a surprise double eviction.

Members of the public have been voting for who they want to win the series since Friday, and the two contestants with the least support will be thrown out.

Phone lines will be temporarily closed while the evictions take place, and then reopened.

The housemates are unaware that two of them are at risk, just two days before the series comes to an end on Friday.

Yesterday the contestants were twitchy about a possible eviction, as Vinnie Jones speculated that two celebrities could be thrown out on Wednesday and Thursday night.

Stephanie Beacham was on the look-out for lights outside the house in preparation for an eviction last night, but none were there.

The group was given a task when they were blindfolded and challenged to make clay models of Lionel Richie's head.

They did not know that the challenge, which imitated the video for the singer's hit Hello, was judged by a Lionel Richie lookalike who chose Beacham's as the best.

Tonight's evictions will be broadcast live on Channel 4.
