Delta Goodrem today paid tribute to medical staff who helped save her life.

The singer and former Neighbours star, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease in 2003, was at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne to mark Australia's annual "Thank-you day", when health staff are honoured.

She said: "I'm lucky to be here, turning 21 in two days."
