Taylor Swift surprised a lucky fan last weekend by flying to Ohio and crashing her bridal shower.

The bride-to-be Gena Gabrielle is a huge Swift fan and has met Taylor several times before at meet and greets, previously inviting her to the wedding as well as the shower.

Apparently after finding out she was unable to attend the wedding, she insisted that she be able to travel to Ohio to meet the lucky bride.

The blushing bride, Gena took to Twitter to show her gratitude, tweeting: "I was going to say I had no idea Taylor was coming it was a complete surprise. She's an incredible person and amazing friend."

She also shared lots of pictures of herself with the star, and Taylor with her groom and bridesmaids.

Gena also tweeted Taylor to thank her, saying: “Thank you so much for everything. You went above & bring my wildest dreams. I can't thank you enough”.
