Tango dance party in the park

Move to the rhythm of an Argentine beat this weekend as outdoor dance party

The event, now in its fourth year, attracts hundreds of dancers and spectators. Beginners and those more experienced are all welcome with classes running all day.

Known as milonga - the Argentine name for a tango dance party - it promises to be the hottest outdoor party of the summer!

And this year, organisers hope to raise thousands of pounds for The Prince of Wales' Royal Parks Tree Appeal.

Tango Al Fresco will take place in Avenue Gardens, south end of Broad Walk, Regent's Park, this Sunday, July 7, then again on July 21 and August 4.

On all days there will be a class for beginners at 1pm, with general dancing from 2-6pm. Tickets, including class and dancing, cost £7 for one day or £20 for all three days. Spectators are welcome and will not be charged.

Make sure you bring along some comfortable shoes - all that dancing can take its toll!
