Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell cosied up to boyfriend, YouTube star Joe Sugg, amid reports she has been left upset by cruel trolls commenting on her relationship.

The dancer, 34, is paired with EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier, 20, in the current series of the BBC dancing show.

The dance couple’s close bond has been criticised by some fans, with the pro reportedly left upset by scrutiny of her five-year relationship with Sugg due to her professional relationship with Brazier.

A source told The Mirror that she and Joe are “very much still together” but that “the cruel remarks she has read about her relationship with Bobby – who has been really supportive – have hit her hard.

“Her and Joe are still very much together and he has also been very supportive, and made it clear publicly that he has her back.”

Buswell seemingly put her upset to one side to spent some quality time with Sugg over the weekend.

The couple posted a series of cosy pictures – including one of the pair in matching autumnal outfits.

They also appeared to go for a swim together in an Instagram story posted to Sugg’s account.

Meanwhile, there was more good news for Buswell as she announced her brother is expecting his second child.

Her brother Andrew is due to welcome a baby with partner Melissa Lejman.

The whirlwind weekend comes as Buswell’s father back in her native Australia has been battling ill health.

On the weekend’s show, Brazer delivered a striking Argentinian tango to Sail by Awolnation with Buswell to land a score of 30.

Craig Revel Horwood felt the performance was “too aggressive” and “choreographed”, while Shirley Ballas said she did not agree with her fellow judges and it was “much better” than their routine last week.

Meanwhile, actor Adam Thomas said his self-belief after competing on Strictly was “out of this world” as he became the sixth contestant to be eliminated from the BBC One show.

The Waterloo Road star, 35, faced the dance-off for the second week in a row after his rumba during Saturday’s live show landed him joint bottom of the leaderboard with Irish TV presenter Angela Scanlon, as they both received 27 points.

During Sunday’s results show, he reprised his dance to Dancing On My Own by Callum Scott with his partner Luba Mushtuk while veteran broadcaster Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington performed their waltz to Fascination by Nat King Cole again.
