Paul Weller and Stereophonics have donated songs to a new album raising money for male cancers.

They are among 10 artists who have lent their support to the B*ll*cks to Cancer! CD, which goes on sale today. Elbow, The Rakes and Grandaddy have also contributed songs.

All proceeds go to the Everyman Male Cancer Campaign, which raises money for research into prostate and testicular cancers.

Spokeswoman Alison Morgan said: "We're delighted that all these great artists have donated tracks for this fantastic CD.

"Prostate cancer kills one man an hour in the UK and testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young men.

"This CD is a great way for music fans to help us raise money for vital research." The album is available exclusively from Virgin Megastores and costs £4.99.
