Alan Cumming's new show Bought a Blue Car Today, opened last night at the Vaudeville Theatre. Fellow luvvie legends Sir Ian McKellen and Alan Rickman (below) pitched up for the evening and the after party at the Waldorf Hilton hotel.

The show features songs from acts as diverse as Frank Sinatra and Cyndi Lauper. Cumming's previous musical roles have include the Emcee in Sam Mendes's Cabaret.
