TV show The Apprentice hit a new low after the women's team set up a kissogram business selling kisses.

Sir Alan Sugar blasted the team, and accused them of behaving like 'prostitutes' for participating in the degrading spectacle.

The women's team, led by 26-year-old Naomi Lay, came up with the 'idea' after being challenged to create their own business with just £200 on tonight's show.

According to The Mirror, they decide they can rake in cash by going out on the street to sell kisses to punters.

Gerri Blackwood, Naomi Lay who led the women's team in this weeks challenge, and Jadine Johnson get a dressing down from Sir Alan who condemned the girls business idea and said 'It sounds like another old profession I've heard of.'

But when they get back in the boardroom Sir Alan, 60, makes it clear it is his idea of a good business idea and gives the girls - including Naomi, Gerri Blackwood and Jadine Johnson - a dressing down.

He says: "It doesn't sound too great to me. Sounds like another old profession I've heard of."

The kissogram plan also causes a rift between the girls over whether it is morally correct. Kristina Grimes and Natalie Wood argue that it will make a huge profit.

But Naomi admits: "I don't really want to be doing that. I'm a business woman not a prostitute."

The others convince Naomi it's a good way to make a quick buck - and Kristina and Natalie are soon giving kisses to strangers.

A show source said Sir Alan was furious at the girls' behaviour, adding: "He felt they were selling themselves, not a business. And that is not what the show is about."

In the last series, the women's team were embroiled in a similar row for giving kisses to people in exchange for free stock to sell.

In tonight's show, the men launch a gardening business and a pub DJ service.
