Russell Brand is reportedly planning to add to his CV - by becoming a rapper.

The comedian, actor and activist has reportedly asked to work with rapper Naughty Boy to bring out an album.

A source told the Sun on Sunday: "Russell thinks it would be really fun to put some of the poems to music and asked Naughty Boy if he would get involved after getting to know him through his girlfriend Jemima Khan. He will pick out some of his favourite quotes and go into a studio to record them.”

Brand has dabbled in music before, for his role as Aldous Snow in the films Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Get Him to the Greek, but this would be the first time the comedian makes tracks under his own name.

The quotes are said to come from poems, which feature in Russell’s latest book called rEVOLution, which is due out in October.
