When Jade Jagger was dropped as the Creative Director of Garrard last year, amid rumours that her designs were not traditional enough for the established jewellers, the 35-year-old daughter of Mick Jagger was adamant that her passion for designing would be unaffected.

Now I can reveal that Jade is to launch her own line of jewellery under her music and clothes label Jezebel.

"So far there are lots of funky designs like necklaces with skulls and crossbones," a source said.

While her designs sound fabulous, I have to admit to being surprised at Jade's 14-year-old daughter Assisi during the launch of the Cocoon phone at the O2 Wireless festival last week.

She was running around the VIP area asking fellow guests for a cigarette.

Let's just hope they were for Mum, who I spotted trying to scrounge a roll-up from Isaac Ferry.
