The singer's father, Ronald Fenty announced that Rihanna and Chris Brown could be rekindling their romance.

He said that Brown has moved on from his abusive past and has mellowed with age.

The former couple were recently sighted in New York and Rihanna's father has confirmed that the two spending time together may lead to a romantic reunion.

"Chris has matured a lot. I think everybody has to put the past behind them. And they seem to have done that. Being a couple is all up to her."

"Every decision is her decision. I just wish her the best. I hope things will work out."

Fenty added that even some of her fans are rooting for them to rekindle their romance and he can see no better match for his daughter.

Ronald commented: "Everyone is entitled to make a mistake. Her fans are hoping it will happen. They see them as a perfect couple."

Chris recently tweeted about the death of Rihanna's grandmother, Clara "Dolly" Braithwaite who succumbed to cancer.

He wrote: "Praying for family and the lost loved one. She was like my grandmother. Love you GRAN GRAN! RIP."
