Pregnant Kerry Katona made a mad dash to hospital this morning over fears she might lose her baby.

The former singer woke up at 6am to find she had been bleeding, and was rushed to hospital in Warrington by her taxi-driver fiancÈ Mark Croft. According to friends of the ex-Atomic Kitten star, 26-year-old Kerry has been having numerous problems throughout her third pregnancy. Already mum to daughters Molly, four, and three-year-old Lily-Sue, Kerry has been very ill in the three months of her pregnancy.

One source close to the star said: "Kerry's health has been far from good and she has hardly left the house. She has cysts on her ovaries and that is thought to be the reason why she has been on alert."

However, despite her bad health, Kerry, who is divorcing former Westlife star Brian McFadden, caused controversy when she was photographed smoking while pregnant on holiday in Marbella with Croft, 34.

She is trying to give up, but admitted: "It's really hard. I do sometimes have a cigarette."

But it is her drug use that has been condemned the most. She also has a history of alcohol abuse and was treated in a rehab clinic for depression last year.
