Victoria Beckham is planning to relaunch her singing career.

Friends say the 31-year-old mother of three is considering either reforming the Spice Girls in July next year to mark the tenth anniversary of their formation or fronting a new band of her own.

A source close to her manager Simon Fuller said yesterday: 'She wants to be famous for something other than being David Beckham's wife.'

Before returning to music later this year, Mrs Beckham will keep busy promoting her range of £150-a-pair designer jeans.
