Detectives were today interviewing the glamour model Katie Price about her latest claims that she was raped by a "celebrity".

Police are understood to have arranged to visit the 31-year-old reality TV star - who is better known as Jordan - at her Surrey home this afternoon.

Katie Price claims she was raped by a celebrity

In a statement Surrey Police said officers wwere following "lines of enquiry" into the alleged attack although they have not received an official complaint into the alleged incident.

The allegations first surfaced in Ms Price's column in a magazine in response to criticism of a brutal simulated rape scene filmed by her boyfriend, the cage fighter Alex Reid, 34, for his new movie.

The alleged attack is said to have happened several years ago after a party in London's West End following several secret dates.

The mother of three, who recently divorced from her husband, singer Peter Andre, did not go into detail about what happened to her.

In the latest development the model and author accidentally let slip the alleged attacker's name during filming of her ITV2 reality show What Katie Did Next.

The entire crew has been sworn to secrecy and lawyers told producers to cut the footage.

This week she used the same magazine column to describe her alleged attacked as "a famous celebrity".

A Surrey Police spokeswoman said: "No report of a rape has been made to Surrey Police. Officers from Surrey Police have not yet spoken to her.

"However, officers will be following lines of enquiry into this offence."

Ms Price lives in Woldingham, just inside the M25.

If the case were to proceed, it would be dealt with by the Met's Sapphire sex assault unit as it allegedly occurred in London.

Scotland Yard said they have not received any complaints either and was not following any lines of enquiry.
