Oscar-winner Gwyneth Paltrow has been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The unveiling took place on the pavement outside Madame Tussauds celebrity wax museum in advance of the January 7 release of her new film, Country Strong.

Paltrow, 38, won the best actress Academy Award for Shakespeare in Love in 1998.
