The sister of Michael Jackson's teenage accuser heard a conversation that led to the boy and his brother sleeping in the star's bedroom, she told the trial yesterday.

Davellin Arvizo, 18, said her brother Gavin, then 13, asked during dinner at the Neverland ranch if he and his brother Star, 11, could stay in Jackson's bedroom.

'Me, my father and my brothers and Mr Jackson were all there. We were eating,' she told prosecutor Tom Sneddon.

He asked her: 'Who brought up the subject.' She replied: 'Gavin.'

Mr Sneddon asked: 'As a result that night, to your knowledge, where did your brother sleep?' Jackson's lawyers then objected to the question.

Mr Sneddon then asked: 'As a result of the conversation that occurred at the dinner table, did your brothers sleep in a guest room that night.' She replied: 'No.'

Earlier, jurors saw inside the master bedroom where Jackson allegedly molested Gavin. They were shown a video from the 2003 police raid on his estate in the hills above Santa Barbara, California. The film included shots of a sparkling bedspread, pictures of Marilyn Monroe and Shirley Temple, TVs and stacks of videos - but none of the pornographic magazines the prosecution claims were found there.

Two rooms that investigators called 'the doll room' and 'the toy room' were filled with dolls, mannequins and figurines of such characters as Batman, Superman, and C3PO and R2D2 from Star Wars.

The screening came after Jackson's former PR adviser told jurors that one of Jackson's team, whom she believed was trying to smear the Arvizo family, might have been plotting against Jackson instead.

Ann Gabriel said she was concerned that Ronald Konitzer planned to wrest away the singer's ownership of a valuable music catalogue which includes The Beatles' hits.

Jackson, 46, denies ten child abuse and false imprisonment charges and the trial, in Santa Maria, California, continues.
