Miley Cyrus can't wait to movie into $3.4 million pad that she 'worked hard for'

Miley Cyrus has grown up and is moving out. The 17-year-old star has purchased a $3.4 million mansion in Toluca Lake, LA.

She can't wait to decorate her pad and is looking for a serene and tranquil place that can just be her space.

She said: "I've bought my house and I think I worked really hard to be able to have a place that is purely my environment and exactly the way I envision - kind of like a serene, tranquil place that can just be my space."

She will move into it when she turns 18 in November.

The teenager's raunchy new image has seen her hit the headlines in recent weeks. Determined to do away with her school-girl charm she has also put her education to one side.

As she prepares for the end of her Disney TV show Hannah Montana she wants to continue working in movies and music and can't see the point in finishing her education yet.

She said: "My sister went to college for two years and then decided she wants to be a musician and now she is a musician.

"I just already know what I want to do and if there is ever a time where I want to go back, I can.

"I learned that from my grandma. She went to college at 67 and graduated at 70 and was a teacher from then. She's 77 now, so you can go whenever you want."
