Mena Suvari is loving married life
Mena Suvari says married life is going "great".
The 'American Beauty' actress tied the knot with music promoter Simone Sestito in May and loves the fact she is now settled down and happy.
She told UsMagaizne.com: "It's going great. The best thing about it is that it's so relaxed in a sense. You are kind of settled and comfortable, and I'm ready to be at that point in my life so it's nice."
One of Mena and Simone's most popular pastimes is to play cards together.
She said: "We travel and gamble! We play poker together really well! He is good. He is better than me!"
Following their May nuptials, the couple said they were delighted to have tied the knot in Rome.
They said: "Rome is the true city of romance, and to be able to wed in the Eternal City is all we could have asked for this occasion."
The couple described the service as "very traditional and romantic", with a string quartet, organist and soprano performing as the actress walked down the aisle, wearing an Alice and Olivia dress with Claudia Ciuti shoes and Nova Diamonds earrings.
Simone designed the couple's white-gold wedding rings himself.
At the reception, guests dined on risotto, raviolini and veal, before watching the happy couple enjoy their first dance to an original composition by Mario Reyes, who performed with members of the Gipsy Kings. They were later treated to a fireworks display.
