Madonna tries pizza for the first time

Madonna swapped her strict regime of brown rice and pulses for her first ever pizza during an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman.

The 51-year-old star, who follows a macrobiotic diet and trains for three hours each day, was seen taking just one bite of the pizza slice - served without cheese - after claiming she had never tried it before.

She also apparently told the show, broadcast on Wednesday, that she would rather "get run over by a train" than marry again after separating from director Guy Ritchie.
