Lisa I'Anson said she wished she could have said goodbye to her fellow housemates last night after being booted out of the Big Brother house.

The DJ was ousted in a surprise eviction by producers while playing hide-and-seek during a staged children's fancy dress party.

Dressed as Little Bo Peep, she was sent to the diary room and - as the others hid - counted up to 50.

'Coming, ready or not,' said I'Anson. 'Not!' replied Big Brother, who told her to leave immediately, adding: 'If you make a sound the others will be punished.' She gasped: ' Oh my God, that's amazing.'

I'Anson was evicted for gaining least public votes - just three per cent. She said: 'The outfit I'll get over, not winning is not a problem, not saying goodbye... I will see them on Sunday, we are such good friends.'

Kenzie was her favourite to win. 'He's a honey, he's 19, he's been thrown in at the deep end, he's dealing with it, he's a gentleman, he's a sweetheart,' she added.

'I've just got a really soft spot for him. I just want him to win.'

Bez and Brigitte Nielsen had been nominated by other housemates who did not know the process was worthless. The former Happy Mondays dancer received four nominations - the second time he has been up for eviction - and Nielsen got three.

Big Brother went ahead with the nominating process after housemates grew suspicious at not being asked for their choices.

Caprice told I'Anson: 'No nominations, no nothing. So bizarre.' However, Blazin' Squad rapper Kenzie guessed what Big Brother was up to, saying: 'I swear, on BB5 one of them got evicted out of the blue.'

Meanwhile, the audience has slumped since John McCririck's departure. Only

3.3million tuned in for Tuesday night's show - 700,000 fewer than on Monday when the racing pundit was evicted.
