The public playback of Lily Allen's new album fell a bit flat last night - with the singer leaving before the new record had even been played. Fifty lucky fans were supposed to be there for the playback, but only 30 turned up and several had left before it even began. They may have been put off by the draconian rules Lily had laid down on her MySpace page, ahead of the playback at Slim Jim's Liquor Stores in Islington.

She wrote: "Fans should also be made aware that bags, coats and all electrical devices must be deposited with security on arrival."
