Lady Gaga would not be Gaga without her weird and wonderful outfits but the singer seemed to have taken fashion inspiration from the Wicked Witch of the West for her trip to Germany.

Witch out: Lady Gaga goes for a scary new look

Luckily, she kept the make-up subtle and did not paint her face green but her flowing black gown was the ultimate in witch chic.

In a long black crepe dress and with a black veil covering her face, Gaga, 24, also swapped the brassy blonde locks she has shown off in recent weeks for a grey tint.

Collecting her gongs: Lady Gaga tip-toes across the stage

The star was in Berlin to collect four platinum awards for her album The Fame Monster.

She attended a photocall at the O2 World Arena in the German capital where she was also awarded three Echo Awards that she missed out on in March as she was unable to attend.

A little help from her friends: Gaga struggled to walk in her non-heeled platforms

She was given the gongs for Best International Female Artist, Best Single Of The Year for her single Poker Face and Best International Newcomer.

The diva had to be helped on to the stage by a member of the crew as she struggled to walk in her platform shoes, which didn't have any heels. Just another day in the crazy life of Gaga.
