Kylie's the sexiest thirtysomething

Kylie Minogue has been named the world's sexiest thirtysomething. The eternally youthful 36-year-old beat Kate Beckinsale and Catherine Zeta Jones to the title.

Good Housekeeping magazine set out to find the sexiest female celebrities across the ages.

Supermodel Elle Macpherson topped the list for women in their forties, followed by Yasmin Le Bon.

Absolutely Fabulous star Joanna Lumley was named sexiest fiftysomething ahead of Sharon Osbourne and Dame Helen Mirren.

In the sixties category, French screen siren Catherine Deneuve came out on top.

And the sexiest women in her seventies is actress Honor Blackman, still gorgeous at 77 and recently signed up as a model for Marks and Spencer.

The women were chosen by an expert panel which included photographer Lord Lichfield. Their results are featured in the March issue of Good Housekeeping, out on February 10.
