Kylie Minogue is being lined up to appear at this summer's Concert for Diana

The Australian pop princess is said to be keen to take part although it is not known if she will sing or be a guest presenter for the Wembley Stadium event.

Meanwhile, Take That have performed a U-turn and will now take to the stage on 1 July.

The band originally turned down the gig because Howard Donald would have been away.

But a concert insider said Princes William and Harry had made a special plea to the group to change their minds - and sealed the deal yesterday.

A source said: "They're perfect because they bridge the gap between a band who Diana loved and who have a whole new audience following their comeback."

Other names mooted to appear include Ricky Gervais and Sienna Miller, who would join a star-studded presenting line-up.
